Last modified:
When a PST project is complete, it's required to decommission PSTComplete installation.
Since the Bridgehead server was dedicated for this project, there is really nothing that is required. The customer can delete the VM (if it's a VM), deallocate (if a VM), shut down, re-install windows, etc. The choice is up to the customer.
If the server need to stay alive then customer can follow this step to remove PST complete from the server:
- Open the Services control panel and Stop all "Cloudficient.PSTComplete.Module..." service
- Open File Explorer. Browse to the installation path where Cloudficient PSTComplete is installed; i.e.\program files\cloudficient - Delete the whole installation folder
- Navigate to "C:\Users\ServiceAccount\AppData\Local" and delete the "Cloudficient" folder
- Open Regedit and browse to: delete followng keys:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\cloudficient
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cloudficient.PSTComplete.Module.Bridgehead
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cloudficient.PSTComplete.Module.CentralMigration
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cloudficient.PSTComplete.Module.ExchangeIngest
r\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cloudficient.PSTComplete.Module.Management
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cloudficient.PSTComplete.Module.Watchdog
5. Reboot the server
As needed, disable/remove any service accounts created specifically for Cloudficient and the Azure app registration.
Lastly, if there were any special networking configurations specific to this project, those can also be undone.
