ISSUE: MAPI_E_CORRUPT_DATA

Overview

During migration of Enterprise Vault archived emails into O365 mailbox, some emails can fail with the following error:

Error in OpenIMsgOnIStg: MAPI_E_CORRUPT_DATA

Exact cause is not know as there can be multiple reasons for this error.

- Potential cause can be that email was archived with high recipient count on messages from Pre-2010 Exchange servers

- Emails is missing some properties that are mandatory by Microsoft for migration into Exchange Online

There is no solution for such error as it would require manual examination of every email properties and manual fix for every email with that error.

End customer can only acknowledge the failed email.
