HOW TO: Decommission ES1C
Last modified:
When an ES1C project is complete, there are a few steps required to decommission the BridgeHead server(s).
Since the BridgeHead was dedicated for this project, there is really nothing that is required. The customer can delete the VM (if it's a VM), deallocate (if a VM), shut down, re-install windows, etc. The choice is up to the customer.
As needed, disable/remove any service accounts created specifically for Cloudficient and the Azure app registration.
Note: if the ES1 Master Service account was used, do not disable it as this will break ES1 functionality.
Lastly, if there were any special networking configurations specific to this project, those can also be undone.
