HOW TO: Exclude calendar items from migration

Overview

There are situations where calendar items in Enterprise Vault have been archived. During the migration of these items, they are unvaulted into the exchange online mailbox. Should a customer not want them to be migrated, EVC can exclude them.

Solution

EVComplete has the ability to exclude calendar items that are IPM.Appointment or IPM.Schedule.Meeting.* (Meeting requests / responses) message classes.

This is configurable as part of the "Mail archive migration synchronization" workflow step.
